Despite a weather forecast that was less than promising – which, in the end, proved to be partially true – every woman who signed up for this wonderful opportunity braved the elements and arrived, eager and ready, at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 14th, for our FREE COME AND FIND YOUR NEW LOVE / TRY GOLF! day.
A huge thank you to Gavin and Kyle for their exceptional work during today’s clinic, where 18 women participated. Based on the smiles, laughter, and their eagerness to return, we can confidently call the event a resounding success!
A special heartfelt thanks to Glenn, who arrived early to give us the use of the Spike Bar while the heavens opened up. Later, he allowed us to continue our socializing and connecting in this wonderful space. This gesture was deeply appreciated, and I’m certain the “newbies” will soon become regulars in the Clubhouse!
We’d also like to express our gratitude to the incredible women members who supported the day, whether through volunteering their time, donating goodies, sharing their expertise, providing delicious food, or offering words of encouragement. One of the best comments I heard was, “…and you are all so friendly and easy to get along with!" It was fantastic to witness the spark of excitement in these wonderful ladies, and we can’t wait to see them again at the club soon.
